Was 2015 the warmest year on record?

Didn't the consensus of the scientific community agree the earth was flat?

Yes they did but there is always more to the story.

The consensus agreed the Earth was flat even though they knew it was not true. They publicly agreed because it was politically correct to do so.

They did it so they didn't get burned as heretics.

Exactly!

The undisputed top forecaster for the biannual Transpac race (a 2550mile yacht race from LA to Hawaii) is Phillippe Verdier. He knows more about world weather forecasting than any meteorologist I have ever heard of. All winning ocean racing navigators use his forecast models for routing.

He was fired for casting his doubts about climate change "expert's" models.

Oh god, so the greatest meteorologist ever is a teevee weatherman. Is Wilard Scott in second place by any chance? Newsflash for Cowboy: Serious climate scientists don't fuck around with predictions about boat races or stand in front of green screens talking about tomorrow's rain.

In the 1950's and 1960's it was the anti-fluoridation types who used to allege conspiracy. Back then most of America just pointed and laughed, but now the conspiracy theory loons have largely taken over a major political party. When that group once again becomes a minor embarrassment to our country, that will help make America great again.

"Natural climate vanations have occurred since the end of the last glaciation The Little Ice Age in particular invoked global climate changes of comparable magnitude to the wanning of the last century It is possible that some of the wanning since the nineteenth century may reflect the cessation of Little Ice Age conditions The rather rapid changes in global temperature seen around 1920 -1940 are very likely to have had a mainly natural origin. Thus a better undcistanding of past variations is essential if we are to estimate reliably the extent to which the wanning ovei the last century, and future warming, is the result of an increase of greenhouse gases."

DonDiego requests he not be placed on the rack. Nor would he like to be drawn and quartered. All he asks is that he be permitted to enjoy the warm temperatures in his old age.

Your entire reply shows what a complete hack, un-comprehending hack, you are. You miss the point on every subject you reply to.
Serious climate scientist DO fuck around with weather routing (i.e. boat races). The subject is at the heart of their science. The fact that you do not believe this shows your ignorance of the subject. If global climate didn't change we could just take the same route across the ocean every race. It takes a scientist with a great understanding of global weather and the changes that effect it to accurately forecast.

And yes, the conspiracy loons have taken over the Democrat party.
It's toasty in Nevada!
