We detected it.

Yes, that's right. A Harvard led team has detected gravitational waves. If confirmed, this proves both Einstein's postulation that gravitational waves exist and the Inflationary Universe Theory which claims the universe started off as a particle and expanded at an incredible rate those first few trillionths of a second.

Physicists are calling the discovery spectacular, Nobel worthy, cosmology’s missing link, and bigger than the discovery of the Higgs boson particle at Cern on July 4 2012.

Congratulations to the Scientists and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Now, I don't know how this discovery leads to applied science, but I wouldn't rule out a tractor beam or a graviton weapon in the next couple of hundred years.

Science rocks.

Sad that so many people can be tricked into doubting how it works.

I knew Einstein was smart!!

It had been DonDiego's understanding that gravitational waves had been detected some time ago emanating from alanleroyII's momma.

I hate to say this, but the conclusion is inescapable: AlanleroyII's momma is bigger than Higgs boson.

yeah.....but GOD made the bang!

They're not mutually exclusive things. You can have faith in both God and big bang theory. One doesn't invalidate the other.

alanleroyII's momma is so big, she has her own event horizon.
