We saw "Love" at Mirage

I know it has been out forever but we finally made it over to the show on Valentine's Day. What a show! I found myself asking "how do you even begin to orchestrate something like this?" several times throughout the show. There is so much going on at one time you can't possibly see it all at one time. i plan to go back again!

"Love" at Mirage
It is spectacular.
A friend of mine has been telling me to see this show. I can't even seem to get to see Jersey Boys even that's been my show of choice. And worse yet, I can get them both comped.
Saw LOVE 4 times. I sat at the front, and I sat at the back - I prefer the back - and not just because they are the lowest price seats - You get a much fuller view of what is going on - and you can see Octopussy Garden rather than being covered with a sheet.
I will be seeing it again this year - but then, I LOVE everything Beatles!

We've seen it four times also. My favorite Cirque show by far.
My favorite part has got to be the intro to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, pitch black with twinkling 'stars'. Surprised some nightspot hasn't copied this magic. Anyone else have a favorite part?
Thanks for the tip! Now for sure i'm going to have to see this show because i hear nothing but good things about it!
Musically, my favourite part is the mix in the first 3 minutes. I have always been a George Martin fan and I believe that this was his best studio mixing ever.
First time I went I thought that I had a lousy seat - I think everyone does for the first couple of minutes - then WOW!
My favourite visual used to be Blackbird - but then they revised it and spoiled it.
Lucy in the Sky is amazing - there is not a single weak part in the show. The roller blade scene is great visually.

Edited to add - if you like Beatles Music - go buy the soundtrack to LOVE - they an absolutely Amazing job of remixing the music.

A basic tactic for ALL Cirque shows is aim for a middle section or further back for seats. That's due to all the overhead work and widespread stage activities - you can't see it all very well from the front rows, (or you spend half the show with your neck craned at uncomfortable angles trying to see it all). Never have figured out why those front seats are the most expensive ones in the house for their shows, it's one of those cases where you DON'T get what you pay for! LOVE was really a great show, and it even appeals to non-Cirque fans like my hubby. We both agreed the rollerblade bit was fantastic!
and you went on the perfect day to see it.
We have seen Love twice. Still the best show we have ever seen in our lives.
