Weather Not Helping getting to or from Vegas

There are friends stuck in St. Louis that were suppose to fly out this morning. St. Louis is iced in with freezing rain. I'm sure alot of that is going on all over the place. There are people stuck in Vegas that the other end in shut down so they are stuck in Vegas. I'd rather be stuck in Vegas than the other way around.

There are alot of flights cancelled that were headed for Dallas for the Superbowl also. DFW was shut down this morning and I think it still is. I'm just sitting home with an expected 9 to 16" of snow on its way this evening into tomorrow. My biggest crisis is if the satelite dish snows up and I can't get a signal. Out come the movies!

If any of you are in the bad weather zone stay safe and be careful.
We had about two inches of ice last night and this morning and its snowing right now.

This after it got to 76 on Monday. Everything is a mess here.
Here in the Toronto, Canada area we are expecting that monster storm to his starting late this afternoon or early evening. By the time it's over

tomorrow night they inform us that we should receive anywhere from 20-30 cm. It could be upto 2 feet of snow. Chaos is coming for sure with this

storm. Thank goodness I am retired and won't have to go out for any reason.
Bitter cold here in Nebraska but we missed most of the snow. Only had a bout 2" last night. Wind chill right now is -34.
We fly out to vegas on Sunday.

We did not get the "ice" that so many around had before it started snowing.

We are expecting up to 30 cm (1 foot) of snow here in southern Ontario.

Hey NannyD, let's be thankful we are not on the other side of the lake. My buddy lives in

Oswego, NY, and they always get two to three times as much snow as we do.

We fly to Vegas on Saturday.......I hope.

Has of right now in the Dallas/Fort Worth Mertoplex (1:00) Love field is closed should open by 3 o'clock DFW is running at 50% with over 500 flights canceled or delayed. Hope your friends make it out of St Louis in the morning.

We got the freezing rain here in Dayton,Ohio with some of the wet stuff(rain) due sometime later on. There's a nice coating of ice everywhere, although the roads were asaulted very early on and are doing ok.
We had about 9 inches here in SW MN yesterday. Ho hum. Just another day.
Just spoke to a flight attendant that was supposed to fly out of DFW this morning. Apparently the wind gusts made it unsafe for the guys to be in the buckets de-icing the planes so they had to cancel the flights.

I doubt anyone traveling here for the Super Bowl will be able to find an available flight later in the week if their flight got cancelled today.
we are scheduled for a late flight TH out of DFW to LAS. Keeping my fingers crossed that we still get to go!
