Just spoke to a flight attendant that was supposed to fly out of DFW this morning. Apparently the wind gusts made it unsafe for the guys to be in the buckets de-icing the planes so they had to cancel the flights.

I doubt anyone traveling here for the Super Bowl will be able to find an available flight later in the week if their flight got cancelled today.

Never underestimate the efforts of the NFL and their sponsors for getting folks to the Superbowl.
Going to Vegas from NY on Feb. 16, a Wednesday.Wednesdays have been bad in the New York area. I hope I get out. I know its 2 weeks away, but I need a fix.
It's been a miserable winter here in NY.
I send my regards and my regrets to those of you who are stuck. I used to live In Syracuse, NY many years ago. Syracuse -- the city made famous by "Lake Effect Snow" and where we would often wake up to "six inches of partly cloudy" if you believed the weather man the night before.

I also send my regards and my regrets to those of you are stuck in Vegas and out of money. Worse than being stuck in ice and snow in a boring town like Syracuse, is being stuck without cash in Vegas.

Everytime I hear about snow it makes me appreciate being born and raised in sunny LAS VEGAS!!!
oops sorry for duplicate post. Can't delete it...
We were supposed to leave for LV from PHL Tues morning and, because SW issued a travel alert for PHL, we were able to rebook our flight with no penalty for Saturday. If we had not changed, we would be in LV now since the original flight left only a few minutes late. Now they're predicting snow for Saturday. Should have kept our original fight but there's no predicting with the weather pattern this year in the northeast. Just hope we make it out on Sat since we're going to the Big Game party at RR on Sunday. I love winter and snow but even I'm sick of it this year.
Man you have got to LOVE that Gorebal Warming, all 2,000 storm effective miles of it.

2,000 miles of weather effecting the US and most, if not all of it, cold.

So when were those oceans supposed to melt and temps supposed to be like in the 100's????
