Last week, I went to start my PC, and it wouldn't start. Came home that night....pushed the start button...and it started! Surprise...surprise! Next morning I went to start it again....and it wouldn't start! Came home that night and it started again! WTF? This time I figured I better not shut it off before going to bed...so I didn't. Next morning, it shut itself off during the night and i couldn't get it started again! After that there was no hope. Someone told me it must be the battery.
Turns out my company has an IT guy so I sent the PC down to the office. Took days before he picked it up. Finally on Friday he picks it up and says it might be done on Saturday. By this time I'm going through withdrawals without having a PC so I borrow my neighbors tower. Now this thing is sooooo sloooow, I think it's going in reverse. But it was better than nothing...not really!
Guy calls me on Saturday saying he can't get it started either, but my boss told him to fix it at any cost! Since they had just bought me a new HP 8600 multi function printer, there was no way to run it without the PC, and in order to get court filings to me, I just had to have a PC. Bottom line is, they got me a new Gateway PC that is about 4" wide...7" high....and 12" deep. I've never seen anything this small that wasn't a laptop! And this thing is fast as lightning. Now I'm as happy as a pig in slop. Wound up finishing 7th in a poker tournament tonight. What a pleasure this little PC is!
