Westie's latest trip report

Not really. I did get a hard sell once, but this last time it was more like - "do you want insurance?" and "do you want the gas option?" They recently started asking for the amount of the deductible on your car insurance. I am sure if you had an accident they would immediately hit your credit card for an amount = the deductible.

The last time I used Hertz they didn't even try to upcharge me on anything. I asked the guy why and he said he never asks the people with AAA. That, to me, is worth the $90 I pay for AAA each year. It just kills me to pay so much for a car rental. Most of the time it will sit unused but I like to have a car at my disposal. This next trip in July, I'm trying to decide if I want to drive my car down from Tacoma, Washington so I don't have to pay for a rental, fly and rent a car, or fly and use a combination of taxis, shuttles, and the monorail. I'm staying at the MGM Signature Suites. My 15 year old daughter will be with me, so a night downtown to do the zipline is planned and also one evening at the Stratosphere.

You know how a mojito is supposed to taste like? I've seen some good recipes on line but NEVER had one.
How would I know if it's a good one? If I like it,I guess.
I like to swear a lot, but I'll be nice,here.
I would always trust a "foodie" like you to steer me towards the good places to eat,totally!
I just want a good mojito (B-4 I die) in Las Vegas,downtown.
