WHA-A-AT?

Seriously, it's been about 18 hours since the great debate, and there are no posts about it? I'm dashed.
I will take the bait. Not sure why I am batting leadoff. I find little value in political threads on a Las Vegas message board.

A few observation: 1. Fox News made a concerted effort for one night to ask questions that had some zest. Surprised me. Thumbs up. 2. John Kasich came across as reasonable and had a firm 360-degree view of issues. This doesn't play well to the base. I think this might have been his death bed. 3. The format in and of its self trivialized debate. This was a made-for-TV event, complete with catcalls, chants and boos from the crowd.
FOX did not broadcast the debate for antenna users here in South Florida.

Neither did any other channel in the free zone.

There were a few notes over on malibber2's "bracket" thread. Several positive comments on Carly Fiorina.
I'm waiting for Thumper's analysis.

Well they certainly had some tough ones for the Donald.

And it's nice to know which members of our Taliban think that if a woman's life is endangered by pregnancy, she should be required to die rather than have an abortion.
Is forky comparing Republicans to terrorists? Even more insensitive considering that Isis killed 19 women yesterday for refusing to have sex.

Nah. I'm comparing them with fundamentalist male dominated religious assholes who think they have the right to impose their version of the invisible guy in the sky on everyone else, especially women. Like telling a woman that if it's a choice between death and terminating a pregnancy, she should just die.

Come to think of it, is that kind of death any better than being murdered by a terrorist?

There's far more people who believe in "the invisible guy in the sky" than narrow minded dimwits like you. I'm not personally a deeply religious guy but I sure as hell wouldn't run my mouth whichever side of the fence I was on. I respect both atheists and religious folks for their beliefs(to each his own) but have no respect for either one that runs their mouth.
