What are you cooking or doing for Superbowl Sunday?

To my local tribal casino. Promotion that every time a team scores, blocks a kick, etc, "big" money winners will be selected. Than after the game ends, another 10K+ to a bunch of winners. May as well be there.
Doing a 40 player no-limit hold'em tourney at a bar.
Broasted chicken will be the main dish.

Tater tots and chili are your special Super Bowl meal? I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be snobbish, but those must be really special tater tots.

Special? They gotta be be Ore-Ida's.

Deep fried tots are outstanding. Baked tots are mediocre at best.

Truffled tots.
Tots are on our menu but we're not that hungry. Probably just stick to the meatballs, rolls, chicken fingers, and them little hotdogs wrapped in pastry. And a nice Côtes du Rhône. Before the game, I'll read a little Moby Dick, watch some golf and the puppy bowl.

We'll be driving home from La Quinta. We'll stop at the outlets in Camarillo, hit Nordstrom in Santa Barbara and maybe a few wineries in the Funk Zone, catch an early dinner and watch the sun hit the Pacific, then hop on the 1 and cruise on back home.

So did you buy anything at the outlets or Nordstrom's and did you find time to stop at the wineries? Where did you have dinner and how was it? Traffic on the 1? TIA.

Yes outlets.
Yes Nordstrom.
Hit the ghetto.
Grilled at home; excellent.
Light and damn is it gorgeous out there now.
