That's what this forum is all about,my freinds.

If we didn't give info/opinions, NO ONE WOULD CARE.
We go during my wife's Feb vacation during President's weekend. So we are choices 1&2. We also combine the vegas trip with a ski trip to Park City.
Retired and love it every Jan--Mar.--May---July---Sept.---last week of Oct that runs into 1st week of Nov. 16 years now and counting. So we leave in 8 days for march trip and have air for May and Sept.
We always go to Vegas each May and October because of the perfect weather.
Rock'n Rita and I also like October because it is a last chance for us to experience
a nice week of sunny and warm days before the long, cold, and snowy N. E. winter sets in back home.

1,3,4,14,and 15.

#1 because now I want to avoid large hoards of tired and crying toddlers.

In the remote past, Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks were rather slow, so great time to visit.

Now, everybody comes when school is out and brings their kids, so I am backing away from those weeks (hate having to, as that gave me a week not having to cook, but...).

I think airlines prices are almost the top priority now.
They've gotten so high, that when I see a decent price I jump on it, then look around for the hotel deals, tournaments, etc.

I just retired, too! I have got to my "bucket list" around the house and I got a LOT DONE!
Just got back on Thursday from downtown casinos. A little cold!

I'll plan another trip around memorial day May 25th. WHEEEEE!
Weather is very important to me.
I have a lot of disposable income,now.

I haven't checked if there will be a MONSTER convention in town, yet.
Don't go April 13 to 16!

I was there 2 years back and ALL of the tables were full!
I go when I have 1) comps 2) frequent flyer miles 3) money
I rarely go when I don't have the above items, unless I go for a work conference.

I can enjoy myself either way. If I don't have money, I take in the sights and look for the best machines to play on a later trip.

I will gladly go when it is hot, cold, crowded, rainy, holidays, and I don't mind going by myself. Vegas is one city where it is easy to be flexible.
I've been (unintentionally) during Christmas, rodeo, CES, Nascar, Marathon, New Year's, 118 degree weather, floods, Chinese New Year, Adult Film festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Kentucky Derby, March Madness, Superbowl, World Series and WSOP.
What I won't do is go with people who can't be flexible and enjoy whatever happens - I hate dealing with grumpy people in fun places.
I used to exclusively go in December for the good deals on rooms and casino promotions.

Now I normally stay for free so I've loosened my parameters a bit. The only rule I have now is to avoid the sweltering hot months of Summer.
1) I don't like to fly in the winter
2) I do love hot weather
3) airfare prices do influence my decision
4) room offers / comps help me decide as well
5) most places I don't want to visit alone, but vegas is awesome for a solo traveler. I think I might even prefer it.
ive been going to vegas for nearly 20 years, probably at about 50 times. never had a bad time. and I hope it stays that way, although it seems more and more
that the casinos / resorts do their best to alienate their good customers.
I do seasonal work, usualy laid off before Christmas, back to work in March or April.I have gone out to Vegas the 1st week of January the last 16 years.Out there for the 1st week of the NFL playoffs and can bet ahead to the 2nd week.Catch the end of the NCAA bowl season too.
