WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK ABUT HARRAHS RESORT FEES AND EARLY CK IN FEES?

What do you think about the resort fees that Harrahs is now charging and best of all is the early check in fees, will this affect where you stay next trip.???
Well, I won't be putting friends up in my CET comped rooms anymore.
the idea of "resort fees" to me, sucks! If you need to raise your price for a room, then raise the price. Resort fees operators must be watching the airline industry on "just how to screw your customers for every penny you can"!
If I read the harrahs fees correctly they are only applying these to the vegas properties as of "now". It won't be long and they will be enacted in every market of theirs that folks tolerate the charges!
Unfortunately all the casinos will eventually follow the lead of the first one who institutes these types of fees. Why wouldn't they? It isn't like the few of here who take a stand will make any difference.

Don't like it. I did consider it when making my latest reservations.
Oh I love paying higher price for nothing. Not. See previous rant on how Vegas has changed for the worse not sure if I will continue visiting.

Boy has Vegas changed over the last 10-15 years used to be no buffet was over $12 now it is hard to find one under even breakfast. Soda in the gift shop was 1.50 same price as the vending machine now both are 3.50. Beers in the gift shop were 2.50 now they are 6.00. Resort fees, early check in fees, and late check out fees. Where else can they get money from you ? I guess they ran out of things to raise the price on so they will charge a resort fee a fee for nothing that they can just keep raising, what a joke I used to love this town but after the last few visits I wonder if I will ever return.
I don't realy care if they charge the thing or not. What's a few more dollars to someone who brings $750 to lose? Worry about the losses and pay the fee with a smile, or stay home. I see so many here groan and moan about a little fee when they have no problem with losing hundreds.
What's a few more dollars to someone who brings $750 to lose? A few dollars? At $25 a night and you stay four nights thats $100.00. You call $100 a few dollars you must be it that 1% I keep hearing about. It it was $5.00 a night I would not care but $15-$30 a night for NOTHING.
I have only been asked for extra for an early check-in once. I told them that I was going to dump my bags in the room and hit the casino for the rest of the day. They said that I could check the bags in.
I told them that I would but I would then get back in the car and go elsewhere to gamble for the rest of the day.
They gave me my room keys.
That was NYNY - 4 years ago.

And, that's $25 PLUS TAX per night.
