WHAT goes in your carry-on/checked baggage?

It would apply to most trips out of town where you had to live out of a suitcase for a few days.
Throw away clothing:Socks and shirts that I don't like.A pair of shoes,same reason.

Dental hygene supplies,personal hygene stuff,shaving supplies,hair care,MEDS,extra glasses,"Chap Stick",sun glasses,snacks,note pads and an extra pen and a few plastic coat hangers!

Extra battery to charge cell phone and the adapter to charge from 110 V.
Hand tools to disable the room window slider stops,if the TSA's don't yank 'em.
Casino players club cards.

Then,the stuff you FORGOT to bring,the last time.
Ralph brought his cell phone charger, but forgot his cell phone. HA!
Chap stick is a HUGE thing to forget in 'Vegas.
Maybe sun screen.
If you will be doing some driving: sunglasses!
Maybe a few CD's.

Then, there are more personal items that you may need,individually.I won't go into that.

You can always get a new card.
Buy something that you forgot to bring along,even a cell phone.

add to your list duct tape and clothes pins . Subtract coat hangars who hangs stuff up anymore LOL.

Are you one of them there folks that brings old, ratty underwear on a one-way trip to Vegas? Not me, man. I bring my newest, sexiest drawers. You never know what could happen in Vegas.

All my underwear is identical....plain and white. I don't believe in them fancy pants sexy drawers.

Why would anybody bring underwear to Vegas?

Coat hangers is for when I do my laundry to dry in the window.Open ALL of the way.
I leave socks there.

My carry on consists of all the clothes I'm taking, my meds, vegas coupons, personal hygiene products, a jacket, and a towel. (never know when Earth might be destroyed to make way for that interspacial highway.

And don't forget to drink a beer.
