What happened with Mc Donalds and MGM Resorts?

The LVA shorts have printed the following:

May 5, 2016 14:21 McDonald's Out at MGM Resorts: As of this week, all McDonald's venues in MGM Resorts' Strip-hotel food courts have closed, we know not why.

Did Mc Donalds demand free parking?
Decided they couldn't compete with Ramsey's burgers?

Ramsay is....not sure about this Ramsey you speak of

Your in Vegas why would you want to eat at McDonald's anyway?
Easy. Late night fries or even quick small something to put in your belly during the day. I can't stand McD's but man, we do love their fries.
Best thing to hit the supermarkets: Fast Food Fries, find them in the frozen food section.

Heat in single layer in a 450 oven for 10 minutes...just like McDonald's, or better!

Unbelievable but true, and a lot more for the money. One bag gives us 3-4 meals.

I have two bags in my freezer, I haven't tried the oven method, always in my deep fryer. They never seem quite as good Mickeys fries but I'll give it a shot.

Actually I just saw a thing about recreatibng the real thing and it's to parboil first, let 'em dry them deep fry. I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to. Supposedly takes out some of the moisture or something.

Oven method is much easier. Spread in one layer on the cookie sheet. I think it says to heat 11-13 minutes. 10-11 is about right in my oven, no more. I salt them a bit as they come out of the oven.
