What If “Comped” Rooms Were Abolished?

No comp rooms?
They might just reinvent themselves out of business.
Vegas has slowly changed the cornerstones that made them successful.

The best of Vegas.
Best odds on gaming- and they are slowly cutting those odds
Free drinks and good/cheap shows/entertainment- faltering a bit but still ahead of anyplace else.
Comps!!- Vegas is known for comps- It's what they do better than anyone else.


If Vegas doesn't comp, they give back the biggest advantage they have....
I dont think they will stop comps on rooms, as long as intelligent gaming people are making the decisions.

The resort fees are like "the camel's nose under the tent". We are seeing a slow erosion of our freebies. We would go less often. When hubby and I travel we always stay at bargain motels, so I really enjoy the luxury hotel rooms with fabulous views.

so many states have casinos now, and that is a lot of competition, even though the your local casino is not "the vegas experience", it seems the vegas casinos would be trying harder to keep your business. but instead, they seem to try to go out of their way to alienate us.

Comped rooms disappear...so would I.
