What if . . . there's no NFL Season this year ?

It won't happen and I will tell you why. Right now both sides are acting like hard asses and will play hard ball I say until like mid June or early July and then when both sides get desperate they will cave in and compromise.

I think that both sides know that a work stoppage would be the worst thing for both parties.

What will poor old DonDiego do on Sundays?

Maybe volunteer work? Hmm, . . . does anyone know, like, . . . if one volunteers at a soup kitchen, does he get a free meal for himself? And, if so, how many meals can he get a day?
Maybe DonDiego is not cut out for volunteerism.

Ok, . . . how about this, . . . can anyone suggest a College Team which he could support? Preferably within a ½-day drive from Appalachia.
(DonDiego's alma mater had no NCAA football team. The school had had one around the turn of the 20th Century, but a student got hurt once, so they disbanded the team.)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mizzou? but since you like the Eagles god knows why, what about the Lehigh Mountain hawks?

Since college football is mostly played on Saturdays, that still leaves you with nothing to do on Sundays.

You're kidding me right????? The NCAA is just waiting to change a ton of football games to Sunday so they can get more money from the networks. Half the big games on Saturday, the other half on Sunday. If there is a lockout, it will happen.

Personally, I could care less if the spoiled babies play or not. The only problem I see is that with nothing to do the players will end up committing more crimes doing drugs and violating other peoples rights.

I know that all I'm going to do is slice my wrists and die peaceably. Without football and no football contests, there is no reason to live.
DD you could do something physical with your wife. You figure it out as I won't be telling you.
Assuming DD is a certain age, that might occupy him every other Sunday. On alternate Sundays, perhaps he could further prepare himself for the new world order by studying Buddhism or Islam.

That's why DonDiego bought the soap.

DD could tune in to Nascar. It's season (which I will admit is a tad too long) runs till mid November.

Since many Nascar teams employ former college football players in the pit crew position, perhaps out of work NFL players can find some gainful employment.

And DD....remember......if you do become a Nascar fan.....NO 6 PEAT !!!
!!!! If there is no NFL this fall, TEECHUR may go crazy!!!!

Think of DonDiego...think of DonDiego with nothing to do (starting in April with the Draft, he usually spends approximately 8-12 hours a day on the computer researching/studying/enjoying NFL stuff until the Superbowl is over)..think of DonDiego becoming MORE of a doomsayer (if that is possible)...think of DonDiego and teechur being together 24/7 as retired people often are...think of teechur pulling out her hair with a 'bored' DonDiego....

I'm just saying. For Pete's Sake, NFL! All of you VERY GREEDY players, owners, union, NFL, agents...get your act together and compromise...my sanity is at risk here!
