What if . . . there's no NFL Season this year ?

"You're kidding me right????? The NCAA is just waiting to change a ton of football games to Sunday so they can get more money from the networks. Half the big games on Saturday, the other half on Sunday. If there is a lockout, it will happen."

Could not agree more. The NCAA would love the xtra xposure.

Start taping Women's Beach Volleyball now! The beauty of it is that, no matter how many times you watch the games, you probably won't remember who won . . . or even care.
What I don't understand is that almost all the overpaid players get paid so much, that after the career is over, they go broke. The pay the football, basketball, baseball players, etc in one season if enough to live by for the rest of there life. Yet, they don't know how to safe the money they make. Quess who pays the bill? The Fans. I LOVE football, and other sports, but will not support the lock out. I'll find something to do. I'll go to the movies, or I'll go to Vegas.

So what's the attraction?

Bad year for the bookies if this does happen.
I love NFL Football. However I could careless about the battle between millionaires and billionaires. There are so mnay good college games out there on saturdays they cannot show them all. There are a lot of colleges out there would just gobble up that TV money and play on Saturdays. It makes no sense to me that the players (employees) can tell the Bosses (the owners) just how much money they can make. The think that upsets me the most they $6.00/$8.00 beers /$5.00 hotdogs/$20.00 parking and tickets to the game that only $4.00 to see the Pirates a sub standard single A club play ball. Every player that shows talent they sell off in a hurry and leave fans with a Club playing below 500 ball. The people you feel sorry for are the restaurants, vendors, and other workers that depend on this for income. I for one am for saying throw the 2011 season out and let's see some great NCAA football on Sunday.
As Jerry Glanville, former pro coach used to say, NFL stands for "Not For Long". Now NFL is for even a shorter time for some.

I could care less if the pros ever play again. College, as others have stated earlier, could filter over to Sundays. This would make my day.

Only people I feel for is the sports book. No NFL could really affect these folks.
The players will crack. When the paychecks don't come in beginning in September, you will see a resolution. The owners have deep pocketbooks and can simply wait out the players.

Think of DonDiego...think of DonDiego with nothing to do (starting in April with the Draft, he usually spends approximately 8-12 hours a day on the computer researching/studying/enjoying NFL stuff until the Superbowl is over)..think of DonDiego becoming MORE of a doomsayer (if that is possible)...think of DonDiego and teechur being together 24/7 as retired people often are...think of teechur pulling out her hair with a 'bored' DonDiego....

I'm just saying. For Pete's Sake, NFL! All of you VERY GREEDY players, owners, union, NFL, agents...get your act together and compromise...my sanity is at risk here!

Why don't you write those owners and tell them what is in store for you if the players go on strike?
As a LIONS season ticket holder...I for one, WOULD BE THANKFUL!!!!
