What If They Threw a Halloween Party . . .

. . . and nobody showed up?

"Some new rules have been put in place for Zombiefest, an annual Halloween event on the FGCU campus, including not allowing students who attend to wear costumes, masks or face paint. Zombiefest will be from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on the second floor of the Cohen Center, the campus union.

The changes to Zombiefest are to ensure it is safe and students have a good time, said Julie Gleason, Assistant Dean for Student Involvement."

Ref: Ft. Myers News-Press

So, . . . like, . . . what's the point of a Halloween Party ?

And what the heck is a "Dean for Student Involvement" ?

And what ever happened to poor old DonDiego's America ?

"not allowing students who attend to wear costumes, masks or face paint." - so what is the point of the party?
That's about the stupidest thing I've eer heard (I guess not thee stupidest ). What in the world is the point of zombiefest if no one is allowed to dress as a zombie? Progressive policy at it's finest I suppose...SIGH..

Political Correctness has run amuck at American Universities - run by liberals and women. Go figure!

What in the world do women have to do with it?
When women ran our soccer league - we suddenly stopped keeping score and gave participation trophies to all.....the height of liberalism and political correctness.

Is it any coincidence the education system is predominately run by women and it is a bastion of liberalism and political correctness?
DonDiego is pleased to report that not all universities are banning halloween costumes altogether, . . . yet.

The caring folks at Wesleyan University have put up posters around the campus which provide concerned-student-Halloween-Party-Goers six telephone numbers of on-campus nannies who will advise them if their planned costume may be "offensive" to anyone:

[At the risk of offending someone on LVA, DonDiego notes that an interested person could also call the nannies to confirm that his costume of choice is offensive if one chose to do so.]

A political party filled with people like you--misogynists, racists, religious bigots, and xenophobes--and you wonder why your party has won the popular vote for president only once in the last six elections? Carry on!

I see nothing about nudity on that list.

The best Halloween costume I ever saw, was a very attractive woman who was wearing old fashioned long johns with the drop flap in the back. Well she had the drop flap dropped and her beautiful naked heinie was showing for all to see that night.

Hmm, . . . DonDiego wonders if he donned such a costume and went trick-or-treating, . . . what treats he might expect?
