What an insult..

Imagine if all the white people left, or if all the asian people left, or all the green people left. SHEESH. I have to keep posting white this or black that, why in the hell is it such a big issue? I mean seriously, why is it news if ,in fact, a big part of a crowd walks out why is not reporteedWHY they walked out. I imagine it's how forkie would report a story, forgot what's really going on, not what's really happening.

The racial divide ,well whatever..

"The founder of an alternative school in Georgia issued an apology Saturday after videos circulated on social media showed her making a racially-charged remark during the school's graduation ceremony.

The audience at TNT Academy's commencement ceremony on Friday became increasingly stunned as the school's founder, Nancy Gordeuk, chastised some people for leaving the event early, the video shows. Most of the audience got out of their seats after Gordeuk said: "Look who's leaving — all the black people."

It is unclear who shot the multiple versions of the video that have been shared on Twitter and Facebook. Many on the social media sites have called for Gordeuk to lose her job{of course)

Gordeuk told NBC News that she inadvertently skipped the Valedictorian's speech, and the crowd became disruptive when he was given the chance to deliver his remarks. "When I looked up all I saw was black families leaving, and thus the comment," she said..."
Perhaps there is more to the story. Inadvertently skipped the Valedictorian's speech? How does that happen?
She should have threatened them with detention. "Class is NOT dismissed".
She was just following le style de la forkush narcissique, in which it is de rigueur to end one's remarks with an insult.

Those who got up to leave, pre or post flub up, showed what kind of manners, how much regard for other humans, how much regard they had for all the graduates, which was obviously NONE.

Graduations have deteriorated into cheering contests anyway. Whomever has the biggest and loudest number of "friends/family" to clap and cheer...

My 1965 graduating class had 683 students. Talk about painful to sit through unless your kid's last name started in the WXYZ range.

After the band and choir numbers and the Val/Sal speeches, the master of ceremonies asked that applause be held and everyone remain throughout, and they pretty much did.

But that was a different era. People had manners.
