Uh oh, someone is pissed that they are not getting to voice their political talking points!

Dude, he's always pissed about something.

I like drmilled. If everybody had to leave LVA that disliked someone here there wouldn't be anybody left on this forum.

Doctor, you have seen the 100 or so notices from LVA that political posts are not allowed on the Free For All, right? That they have determined that watching people bitch and oversimplify highly complex issues and turn them in to a sound bite, a la Rachel Maddow or Bill O'Reilly as the first exposure to LVA is considered in their minds bad for increasing business, right? And that there are hundreds of political message boards that you can wax poetic?

Odd thing is I noticed after all the threads were deleted today it died in here in terms of activity. The death of a message board comes when controversy is eliminated. Some people say they hate it, but the view counts and the lack of activity when those types of threads aren't here say otherwise.

Malibber, I have been a paid member for years. But if my first exposure to LVA were these ridiculous oversimplied posts and threads I would have passed on membership. Right or wrong, I respect Anthony's right to make that determination.

Eight people arguing about the same old shit everyday is not the type of activity the owners want. I can't believe you can't understand that.
I respect that it is his site and he can do with it as he wishes. My opinions are just my opinions nothing more. However, I do know a couple of paid members that left the site because they couldn’t talk about what they wanted to any more. And I know it has been really dead in here the last couple of weeks or so. I can't help but think a message board with a low level of active users would also discourage a person from joining. Of course the staff could always pose as regular members and ask Vegas related questions simulating activity, but that sort of stuff only fools people for so long. (btw I was a paid member for 2 years)

And how many paid members or potential paid members have left due to the stupid political bickering threads?

For as wrong as malibber usually is(heehee,j'k) I think hes kinda right here. The forum would absolutely die a quick death if there wasn't some kind of converstion going on,BUT,yes, said conversations just need to be kept civil and in a non-pugilistic manner, but thats just my opinion.

Talking to death about ellis island steak or best buffet gets pretty boring after awhile and knowledgable posters would leave. If they all left, there'd be no one left to answer any questions and give insight on vegas. Hell PJ himself is better than trip advisor any day as well as most others here. This place is a wealth of info as it is(notwithstanding some wise asses). I wish they'd let some of the threads live.

BTW,i'm thinking of staying in the room our first night in town(we have a luv tub room at the imperial palce) and was wondering if there's a good pizza place that delivers, any suggestions? Its a monday and we're figuring not much going on in vegas anyway. TIA!
