I bought the membership for 2 years. I believe that is somewhere in the neighborhood of $80. Anyway if you don't like that old adage how about numbers don't lie?

Malibber, the idea that a lack nasty political attack threads is the reason traffic is down is laughable.

There are plenty of other reasons. And I would counter that one of the reasons traffic is down is because of the endless political threads that continue to be initiated on the Free for All despite the rules. It takes all of the air out of the place.

And even on the Kitchen Sink there are about eight contentious threads out of the first 20. Ridiculous.

I didn't say nasty. I don't think nasty (personal attacks) in any type of thread should be allowed. Honestly, most of the political threads aren't contentious.

The bottom line is people are finding it less compelling to spend time here. That tells me they aren't being entertained. The place looks like a ghost town on the weekdays. I have had my say and I am done with this thread like they say you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.

I come here because it's interesting (and Luv3card and Coltpacer). It has become less interesting lately. I always enjoyed political discussions here, and miss them. Anthony will not miss me, I never gave him a dime. I check in on Vegas sites once or twice a month, I check in on this site at least once a day. If the tedium continues it will become just another Vegas site, visited once or twice a month.

Do the math.
