What new car would you buy?

Thanks for all your advice on what car to buy.
We finally made up our minds and bought a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S in Slate

We finally decided that it was very reliable, comfortable, spiffy looking and front wheel drive to boot.

The price was amazing and if I can give anyone advice on how to buy a car these days (without all that hassle of bickering with salesman) is to take advantage of the Consumer Report car buying advice. It was offered free recently but I think now they charge like $14. You go to the site and tell them exactly what you want and they email you dealers that have the exact car you want and the price.

Wait till you see the prices. We did have to go like 25 miles from home to get ours when there is a dealership closer but the price was so much better.

Drove there last Friday, saw the car, wrote a check and drove home with it the same day!!

Question: How do we keep that wonderful "new car smell forever"? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I am seriously considering buying a new Chevrolet Equinox LT very soon.

I've owned lots of Chevies, and have run lots of miles through them all, and aside from tires, batteries, a radiator and one transmission, the cars have never let me down.

I love the new look of the Equinox...especially the LT model.

Regarding that new car smell, don't breathe too deeply, they're toxic!
