My favorite was the Golden Nuggets Fremont Street Experience association fee. Since the GN had to pay dues to the FSE they decided to pass this on to the customer in the form of a nightly room extra charge. Someone (perhaps on these boards, I don't remember) figured out that the fee times the GN's posted room occupancy equaled that they were making three times the amount owed to the FSE.
They're missing out on some really great fees. maybe 30 percent of room cost for furniture? Maybe another 50 percent for a bed? 25 dollars a night for matresses? And for nominal fee, an upgrade for a door, with 10 dollar daily fee for a lock?
