What THE Smart Plan - Palazzo

Ok, this is getting rediculous.

Just booked 2 nights at Palazzo.
Now they are offering "in addition" to the resort fee ---- A SMART PLAN.

it includes
check in at 10am
50% of drink in casino floor bars - only 2 guests, beer, wine, well drinks
Stream HD to your mobile device with TOP TIER Wi-Fi
receive 2 lattes per day
Unlimited downloads or newspaper and magazines using pressreader.com

All for another $40.00

It is optional (for now)

I know MGM already do the "early check-in" etc......

Just waiting for Hotels to start charging for other options......
1. DO you require more that 2 Pillows
2. DO you require soap
3. Will you need more than 4 gallons of bath and shower water
4. Will you need 24 hr electricity in your room
5. Pay per TV station
6. Will you need a shower head during your visit
7. Is a working lock needed on your room

OR you can safe hundreds of $$$$$$ and use the new accommodations...a van.... "down by the river".
Just joking, but thought I would inform all.

The Palazzo Smart Plan is Legit. Basically it is early check-in for $40.00

your thoughts ?
Also:
Smart Plan is $40.00 per night !!!!
In my opinion , my "smart plan" would be to avoid staying at the Palazzo - makes sense to me.
If staying more than one night I would pass on the Smart Plan. The early check-in would be worth the $40 if I were arriving early that day or checking out of another hotel and essentially homeless for a day.

You can check in earlier than the official time anyway.

Somebody else tried this some years ago. Can't remember who or if anyone took the bait.

What a rip off!
Yes, we generally are able to check-in early (invited guests) - even if the rooms are comped, we now have to pay resort fee.

I called and made sure we were NOT taking the Idiot plan.

we are also reducing the number of trips we make to Vegas and opting for a local casino. Vegas has got out of hand. I do not know how anyone can afford it. Especially if you are a drinker and go to the clubs.

Try the $20 trick if you need to check in early. I've never been refused when I offered the $20 incentive. :-) And I got a free room upgrade for the week too.

That's cheaper than $40 per night. And downloading a newspaper via press reader? Pllllleeeeeaaasee. Why do Palazzo think that will appeal? LOL
I still have not tried the $20 trick -- anywhere.
I have started calling my hotels on the day of check in (not just Vegas) to let them know I will be coming in early. This way my room gets moved up on the cleaning process. The hotels are usually accommodating.
nt In the 3 star or less hotel/casinos,the 10 dollar tricks works fine. Most of down town.
The "smart plan" blows me away! Really? Add that to the resort fee and the room rate and that's 1/3 of my budget.
That reminds me: Who and why is there the resort fee when a room is comped?
Mostly strip places,as gather here.
The DTG waived the resort fee on my 2 room nights,October 2015.
What abou the GN? They have a resort fee.

GREAT POST!
Will you need soap and working locks for your room? Good one.
Next,we will see who follows suit on this larceny.
