Yep. When I play craps I bet horn and hardways. I also play the pass line/odds etc. Those are the most fun to win.
No different than hitting a long shot at the track or playing 1 number on roulette and hitting.
It's called gambling for a reason. When someone goes about it with an accountants view, well that just takes the fun out of it.

I bet the hardways , the field bets and the pass line with odds. One night at 4 Queens, I went through $600 at least 5 times (lost most, won back....rinse, repeat) Best time I had the entire trip.

Good win Bwana.
Good for you, bwana!
I say this and don't give a damn what anybody (won't call names) thinks...play your hunches!

The ones I remember best (and are haunted by) are the ones I didn't play. Coulda, woulda, and definitely SHOULDA!
I know betting on the hard numbers, hoppers, and one rollers is not the best bets, I will try my luck if the table is hot and shooters are rolling a lot of numbers.

Perfect Treegirl !!!!

I think the exact same way, and when questioned at times I have always said, "That's Why it's Called Gambling".

lol....the heck with those who poop on prop bets. I have turned $5 pb's into $100's many times. I would say I am way ahead on them.
I also like to play the pb's at BJ tables.

WOW! Nice run!

I've seen something similar to that, but it was with snake eyes, not the 12.

The old dude ran off 4 in a row of those, but unfortunatley nobody had any money on the horn.

We were all like ..."no way that can happen again..." Sheeesh

Glad to read you were on the winning side of it, at the right time.

For me, it's a good thing it doesn't take the win out of it.

I was walking thru Luxor last year and there was a bunch of guys yelling at a craps table. So I went over to see what was going on, there was four guys at a craps table and they all had a piles of green and black chips in front of each of them 5 to 10 thousand a piece. The guy rolling would bet the 10 dollar min on pass and then all four would bets 100-500 of the field bet. The dice were coming up 2's, 3's, 4's, 10's, 11's and 12's like craze. A guy standing there watching said it had been going on for 30 minutes and that they had all started with $100 each and betting $10 and slowly increased up to the $100 - $500 bets they were now making. None of the them had ever played craps before and thought that the field bet was the greatest bet ever. I watched a while and the tide started to turn as the 5, 6, 7, and 8 started show up more and more and they started losing. Anything can happen over the short term!
