What was for dinner?

Last night was seafood night, My son wanted snow crab for his birthday, i told him no,i'll get ya kings, he replied in the negative so i got him 3 lbs. of snows and damned if he didn't eat 'em all. Its truly amazing how much he eats, its a wonder hes not fat. I guess his high metabolism and the fact he stays active all the time helps. Thankful hes not one to sit on his rump and play vid games all day. Thought i'd get a coupla robster tails for me and M as they were on sale and looked really healthy. Got a little she-crab soup too. YUM-MY.

AHA,got it resized so's i wouldn't cut off the edges!
Sounds good, John.

How did you cook the legs? Steam 'em? Why does your son prefer Snow over King?
Steam 'em.

No idea why snows over kings. I almost bought a few kings(the legs the store had were HUUUGE, like foot-foot and half long), but they were really expensive and the tails were on sale and looked super fresh. They loved it when i came in and announced loudly "honey, Got some great lookin' tail at grocery store!". I know its' super cheesy and rednecky thing to say,but it was funny.

We had cabbage rolls, meatloaf, mash taters, gravy, and macaroni salad. I had a soda instead of coffee.....
Grilled chicken breast with Italian seasoning
Butternut Squash
Brussel sprouts
And the rest of the family also added baked potato.
