It was an overload issue. We had 303 players and the system didn't handle it. We still don't know what (who?) the culprit was specifically, but we'll get to the bottom of it. Apparently the system was able to handle the load at a certain point and players who ran through the raindrops or were diligent (and lucky) in logging back on were able to complete the game. At one point there were about 75 players and they played down to the end. It was kind of an obstacle-course game and everyone was subject to the same perils, so it actually works out fairly, though certainly not the way we wanted it to be or the way that it should have been. We're addressing the problems and intend to run these Sunday tournaments once a month for now, and hopefully more often once we get things rolling. We're still technically in beta mode, so glitches aren't unexpected, but this one was pretty bad. Sorry for that. We're running tournaments with prizes at 2 (blackjack), 3 (poker), and 4 pm (slots) PST Mon.-Fri. if you want to see what they're about. All are free to enter.
