What's happened to LVA ?

Are you thinking of not renewing because of the boards or because the newsletter/coupon book is no longer a value to you? If you have been here anywhere near twenty years, you predate these boards anyway so back then the value was the newsletter/POV, no?
I can see a newcomer looking at this as a three legged stool, where if one leg gets weak, the whole thing topples.

I really enjoy the TR's because I like to see other peoples reaction to some of the things I saw while in Vegas. I really miss Frankie's adventures, hell if someone would bundle those up and put them in a book, I'm buying. Even if Frankie has a losing day, he finds a way to give you a laugh at something.

I've been away for awhile and yes things have changed a great deal. Although the folks I consider friends haven't changed that much its like somebody took the air out of the place. We have a thread on craps that's at least 10 pages too long and is going on like the neverending story. Should I start looking for that kid and his Indian friend to kick some butt and end that damn thread?

I do have other places I could be, but I consider LVA kinda like the local watering hole. Everybody knows everyone else and we can talk and bs knowing that I'll see you later and we will figure out who's turn it is to buy later.

Bring back my local bar so to speak!

i personally do not care if you agree with moneyla on anything or everything.

its not even moneyla's opinions that annoy me. its this:

money: if you only play the freeplay, you wont get offers
everyone else: i dont play just the freeplay
money: well dont come crying to me when your offers dry up
everyone else: but they dont.....because i dont play just the freeplay
money: you are ripping off the casino
everyone else: uh, i play above the freeplay
money: its really no wonder people's offers dried up with you playing only the freeplay and then leaving
