What's happened to LVA ?

The FreeForAll is a lot tamer than in the past. There was a time when threads were locked left and right, users were summarily sent banned camp, Scantilly Clad Women threads, DrTorpedo Trip reports, Nightly Chat threads...and lot's of 'OT'. Remember when the standard greeting for a new woman poster was "show us your rack"..and sometimes they did?

Then there were the political threads that nearly monopolized the place....Look at the last couple of pages of postings...90% of it is Vegas related....a couple of them are a little contentious, but pretty tame really. I kind of miss the wild, wild FFA...back when Snidely was Frank Rizzo III.

I think there are a lot more Gambling and Las Vegas forums these days for one, and secondly, the younger set have moved on to facebook and twitter and aren't into forums as much.

Sometimes they really did show their racks? I should asked more often. I do definitely a remember dolphins and a vagina. I miss her.

I think that was 'Flipper' not dolphins. She showed her rack too....only because Teechur taught her how to post a pic.

Could have been flipper. She didn't need much asking to us her flippers. That Teechur is a corrupting force. Poor old Don Diego.

I still like LVA, lots of laughs just like with this thread.
I don't post TRs much because I just don't have much to say of interest to anybody.
I cannot keep up with the serial TRs, day 13, etc.
I don't use coupons much, which seems to generate lots of interest.
I laugh at the pomposity surrounding "full pay" video poker, how one is a total idiot if he plays 9/6 Double Bonus.

That Beta thing was a huge turn off.

What a shame that the more things change, the more they stay the same. I haven't been to Vegas since 2007, and honestly, I'm not even disappointed that it's been that long. I've been to other destinations with cheaper airfare from the East Coast. Living in CT means an hour drive to a casino with pretty much the same draw as vegas, for a lot less money. In fact...I attended a Pat Benatar concert Friday March 18, 2011 at MGM/Foxwoods..had a blast, stayed over night, made a donation...and had dinner at the 4star Parragon restaurant. for a lot less money that it would have cost me to go to vegas...so I stay home.

I loved reading Jenaphir's trip reports. I learned a lot from her. Loved the room pic's, where she played...if she won or lost, but I do understand how she feels. Back in the day, a few of my friends here were tortured when we shared our trip reports from our first Mega Meet in February of 2006. It drove people away. So instead of sharing, people just gave up because of a few.


I stopped paying for this "service" about 4 years ago. Haven't missed the paid side at all.
