The recent full moon resulted in a very nice Atlantic shrimp run, and personal harvest of about 7 lbs, inshore in the Fort Lauderdale area. Many of those delectable delicacies have been consumed, others cleaned and frozen for future use. And a couple pounds kept very fresh for Super Bowl Sunday.
So our feast will be shrimp, in a variety of recipes. Most will be barbecued, some with bacon wrappings, some buffalo style spicy hot, and mild, than some coconut fried, some scampi, and perhaps a few in a "boil" Cajun style. And, of course, there will also be my special shrimp Ceviche.
Of course, there will be the usual accompaniments.
So it's shrimp for the appetizers, and shrimp for the entree.
YUM.
