What's the weather like in April??

Ok, so my wife and I are coming out in late April (22nd)......What is the weather like?? Do we pack summer clothes or fall clothes (long pants)?? Are the pools open??

We are from Michigan so I know it is going to be nicer (warmer) than here but....?? What should we expect?

We were in LV over Easter break last year. We both wore light jackets when going outside, even in the afternoon. Even my husband wore long pants.

Pools are generally open, but be aware that most pools are not heated and that water is pretty chilly, even in August. We thought it was too cool to be pooside, and my husband is a sun god.

I went in April in 2007 through 2010. I wore shorts every day.

April is like the perfect month for Vegas

We are from Michigan too and have been to Vegas many times in late April. Mostly 80 degrees and sunny. I would bring a light jacket or sweatshirt for cooler evenings, you may or may not need them. l would bring both long pants and shorts, just in case. We do a 10 day weather forecast just before we leave just to get an idea of whats coming. We hope to be in Vegas April 22 too!

Thanks Again everyone for all the Great Information.....It really helps!! I have only been in Vegas in late Fall (August/September) I know there is going to be a BIG difference from then and April.

Lizzy, Do you have your plane tickets yet?? We are flying with Frontier. Maybe we will be flying out at the same time??

Been visiting LV in mid April for many years (NAB Convention), weather is very comfortable. Pools are open but if it's cloudy or windy you will not like the water.

no plane tickets yet. Booked 4 nights at TI. I will check on Frontier's prices. I plan on getting the tickets sometime this month.

We booked our tickets last November (I think it was) 2 people RT from Detroit for $480. Now we look and the same flights are around $700......Good Luck!!
