What's Your Favorite Christmas Movie?

+ 1 for Christmas Vacation. LOVE that movie!! I used to like Christmas Story until they put it on a marathon every Christmas and then I quickly became tired of it.

I've been watching some Lifetime and Hallmark movies this past weekend. I'm finding some of them good and some pretty bad.

My favorite holiday movie would be "It's A Wonderful Life", in black and white not the colorized version.

A close second would be "Elf" with Will Ferrell. I think it's one of only a few of his movies I actually enjoy.

Funny thing is I haven't watched either this year.

As a kid "Rudolph" and "Frosty" were watched yearly.

What's your favorite?

If you're watching Lifetime or Hallmark beware the movie about the red shoes. It's a really good movie but very sad.

My favorite is National Lampoon's.
1) Love Actually

2) Christmas Vacation

3) A Christmas Story
It's A Wonderful Life.

Jimmy Stewart's performance is spot on. His style of acting fit that role perfectly.

1. A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott.

2. A Christmas Story.

3. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

4. Bad Santa.

Gets my vote, nothing like watching Clark struggle through the holidays.
A Christmas Story is a classic and my favorite....
The Shop Around the Corner.
Christmas in Connecticut.
A Christmas Story - no question! Best Christmas movie ever!
Love the marathon they do with this every year- we make sure it's playing on one of the tv's all the time and since we all know most of the lines almost by heart there's often a dialogue outburst if someone happens to be walking by the tv when one of their favorite scenes is on. It's not surprising to hear "You'll shoot your eye out!" "I triple dog dare ya!"or "Fuuuuuudge" a lot during the holidays in our house!
I believe the movie White Christmas was the first time Bing sang White Christmas, but I could be wrong, but it is a really good movie.

Bad Santa is also a good movie, it slipped my mind when I began this thread. The movie is funny as hell, but make sure you watch the uncensored version (F me Santa).
