DonDiego is most partial to Starbuck's Dark Sumatra and Peet's Major Dickason's Blend. *
But in the interest of variety and thrift he will purchase other Starbuck's varieties, and Dunkin' Dark, and Folger's, and Seattle's Best, and New England Coffee and Eight O'Clock, . . . the last two being quite the bargain brands, . . . depending on what's on-sale and what he has a coupon for. Oh, and Gevalia too; it's just shown up here in Appalachia.
The only brew he always steers clear of is the in-store stuff in those dirty, oily plastic columns; he has had bad experiences.
*DonDiego's favorite coffee of all time is 100% Kona from Greenwell Farms on the Big Island. He purchased several pounds of regular during a visit a few years ago, when they sold only regular or decaffeinated . That it now costs from $26-to-$30 per pound plus shipping, depending upon which of 8 or 10 varieties one prefers, prohibits him from ingesting any.
