What's Your Never, Ever Again Restaurant experience? (Doing the tag on...)

I can say that I have rarely had a bad meal in Vegas- but La Salsa was SO bad - I just could not deal with it...

You guys???
Although it luckily doesn't exist anymore, thank goodness, my worst experience was my first time in Vegas in 2000 and it was the buffet at the Boardwalk Casino. That thing was absolutely horrible!! (and I am not very picky). For current dining establishments, my next trip took me to the Excalibur buffet. Although this is now 10 years ago, I remember the food being bland and tasteless. The setup also reminded me of cattle going to the long trough to feed. I said "never again" and have kept my word.
I had a particularly unpleasant meal last year at ZINE (Palazzo) that included inedible chicken and rude, inept service. I would give them one more chance if comped, but since we're talking Palazzo here ... that would probably qualify as "never again."
Mine would be 2 years ago at "LBS" Burger at Red Rock. I got a virus from the meat that landed me in Summerlin Hospital for 4 days. I was shaking and cold, horrible nausea, high fever that the Hospital had trouble getting under control.

They ran every test on me known to modern medicine. Getting sick in Vegas made me realize how lucky I was with all the great hospitals we have in Seattle.

All this limited my gambling to 2 days out of a 7 day trip. "LBS" = never again. I still don't eat hamburgers any more if I can avoid them.

I've had a few bad buffets - but that goes without saying to anyone who is familiar with the buffet circuit in the city.

I cant recall a bad sit-down meal. The most disappointing was the Italian Fare at Carluccio's Tivoli Gardens (Liberace's place) and even that wasn't all that bad - just very mediocre. I'll never be able to do it again because its not there anymore.

I suspect this is due to the recent bad memory, but it's probably a great idea. There are probably a few menu choices that are more risky than burgers, but they're definitely on the risky side.

I know everyone reading this will think I'm totally screwed up, but my (probably) never again is the Bellagio buffet. The value is fine, but for me, personally, if I pay that much, I don't want a buffet.

I've never had a bad food experience in Las Vegas.

I have had some meals that were a little disappointing, and some that I thought weren't really worth what I paid. But the only restaurants that I vow to never ever set foot in again are all of the restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo complex. since I will never set foot on the property again
The $7.77 steak and shrimp special at Hard Rock. There is a reason this is not on the menu.
I think the IP buffet rates a never again because there are so many nearby alternatives.
Yes, I think you are totally screwed up. Buffet at Bellagio is awesome! Highlight of my trip every year! Oops, I am replying to MrMarcus.
