What's Your Never, Ever Again Restaurant experience? (Doing the tag on...)

The Flame steakhouse when it used to be on the strip. Was awful.

this is probably one I would say never again to also, if there had been a first time. I am not sure what makes someone think some of these really low end buffets would be worth a try.

Mine is Wolfgang Pucks at MGM Grand. I had the tasting menu of Steak Tartar (which 3 years later, I am still tasting), some overcooked piece of pork and gelato. Hubbs was a high stack of canned looking spagetti with tomatoes cut up on top.

?? The buffet at IP will cost you something like $18.95 these days.

Good God!!!!! that even makes it more confusing. why would anyone spend $19 on a buffet with that reputation?

I mean, you are hungry, you obviously aren;t looking for a gourmet experience, and you have $19. you could totally stuff yourself at that McD's kinda by Harrahs

We used to be regulars at the I P, but one visit to the buffet was more than enough to last a lifetime.
I wasn't very pleased with the food at Fremonts Tony Roma and the service was even less desireable.
Only once disappointed at 777 brewery, other than that very happy there.

Hash House A-G0G0 at Imperial Palace. The food looks wonderful but it is lackluster in taste. Service leaves a lot to be desired, too. Wouldn't eat there again, no matter how many coupons I had.

golden nugget lunch buffet was awful

Buffets I couldn't stomach but tried d/t coupons:

Sahara (now closed, thank God)
Rio (Don't know why all the hype, food was blah and the place was soooo crowded)
Sams Town (even the tortilla chips were gross)
P Ho(tried bkfst last trip d/t 2 free buffets, NEVER again; who puts out almost raw bacon?!)

I'm sure I would hate others but don't try buffets that often.

Restaurants I went to only d/t coupons:

Raffles Cafe at MB (lame food, slow service)
Pasta Palace at Palace Station (not a bad place but I became ill w/meningitis the next day after eating a seafood pasta dish; bad memories)

And, like KarenTN, I will never set foot in V/P again so I won't ever eat there!

Been to Raffles 2 or 3 times. Enjoyed it each time.

Not a fan of buffets. Been to Mirage's buffet and thought it was lame.
