What's Your Never, Ever Again Restaurant experience? (Doing the tag on...)

I will never go back to Margaritaville. The service sucked, the food sucked, and margaritas sucked.
The Steak and Lobster dinner at Tony Romo's downtown really sucked. No one in our party of 10 liked it and we all sat at three different positions. Horrible.

Although it luckily doesn't exist anymore, thank goodness, my worst experience was my first time in Vegas in 2000 and it was the buffet at the Boardwalk Casino. That thing was absolutely horrible!!

I think I may have thrown up a little in my mouth at the memory of the Boardwalk Buffet.....now there was a mistake you only had to make once!

I guess i'm lucky, never got sick and don't remember any bad meal in vegas. Only thing i've ever gotten really sick on was a gyro i ate one time that was bad. I was sick for days.

JOHN

Circus Circus buffet, by a long shot. The food was so bad that my boyfriend and I ended up leaving the place hungry because we couldn't even finish anything on our plates. Thank God for the Red Rock buffet a few hours later!
Granted its no longer there but by far the worst meal I ever had in Vegas was the Lady Luck buffet

I think the IP buffet rates a never again because there are so many nearby alternatives.

And the funny thing is I just read a guidebook (it might have been RoughGuide) that listed the IP's buffet in the top 5 for its retro decor and not succumbing to the trend of industrial chic, etc. I would personally single out the Spice Market for being not bad, but really overrated.
The Mint downtown at their breakfast buffet.

It looked bad and it was bad.
( I was young and foolish).

Food poisoning ruined my trip.

Did not eat at a buffet again for many years.
Mine would have to be the lunch buffet at Fitzgeralds.Very generic, very plain.Nothing stood out as being good or worth coming back for.
Now, don't hate me...but mine is Mesa Grill. Maybe I expected too much from a Flay restaurant..."the king of southwestern cuisine".
Don't get me wrong, the food was ok, service was fine, just wasn't impressed for the $$$.
Been visiting relatives in southern AZ & NM since I was a kid...so I know great SW'rn food.
