What's Your Never, Ever Again Restaurant experience? (Doing the tag on...)

Boardwalk and IP buffet were downright horrible but the worst meal I EVER had (for the money) was at Battistas Hole-in-the-Wall 2 or 3 years ago.. Service was bad, seats were mega cramped and the Lasagna and whatever the wife had had the consistency and tasted like glue. (P.S. Used to eat there lots back in the day when it was actually good). Never again.
P.P.S. Oh yeah...the buffet at the Strat....yech !!
My bad experiences were at All American Grill inside the Rio and Subways at the Monte Carlo.

All American Grill was the worst. I had a hamburger and fries. My girlfriend had fish & chips. We were so hungry from the long 5 hour drive to Vegas, we could eat anything. I think the fries is what got us sick, maybe the fish she ate made her worse. The fries looked dark, which tells me the oil must have been old. She was vomiting all night long and even into the second day of our trip. I had the runs for a day and a half. But the first night I had nausea all night long as well as a fever. Never again.

Subways gave me the runs at the Monte Carlo. My girlfriend had a bad stomach ache, but nothing else. We were sitting at the Santana concert in the Hard Rock at the time. I had a bad stomach ache in which I couldn't wait for the conert to be over. Then drove to the Monte Carlo and sat in the toilet of my room for over an hour.

I'll never stay at the Rio again either, totally sucked. I did like the Monte Carlo though.
One time I got very, very nauseous for a couple of days in Vegas. Only my strong stomach kept me from ing.

Since I can't pinpoint exactly what it was that I ate that made me sick, or if it was even food at all,
I won't name any establishment, because that just wouldn't be right.

but let me put it this way ......
I won't eat any more of those bargain hot dogs from a cart or any chili at a buffet .......... EV-VAH Again !!!

Mine was equally both the meal and the service, this was at the Pepermill located adjacent to the Riviera. I like Club Sandwich's, so I ordered the most expensive one that I've ever had, about $10.00 ten years ago, my girlfriend at the time ordered a Chef's salad, when my Club came it had it's bacon bits so pulverized, that it looked liked Bacos, one water and one milk, total bill $21.50 and I paid the guest check book with two $20.00 bills and the waiter said " do you want any change back" Mind you both our water glasses were empty and I have never had Baco's in A Club Sandwich, and he never asked " how was the meal "

Most disappointing meal would definitely be Top of the World at Stratosphere. Almost $100 for my meal that included a steak that tasted like it came from a Denny's. This was on my first trip to Vegas and I was naive.

Fortunately since then I always plan my trips very carefully, including researching good restaurants weeks in advance. As a result, I can't recall a meal that left me sick or ripped off.
Mirage buffet, Battista's.

Now, don't hate me...but mine is Mesa Grill. Maybe I expected too much from a Flay restaurant..."the king of southwestern cuisine".
Don't get me wrong, the food was ok, service was fine, just wasn't impressed for the $$$.
Been visiting relatives in southern AZ & NM since I was a kid...so I know great SW'rn food.

Same here, you aren't alone.
Was very disappointed in my meal.
A bowl of something...awful.
Husband's was better...steak...just OK, not great.
I think I recall we liked the sides OK.
Service was fine but the place was SO LOUD which I hate with a passion.
We didn't order their signature dish, a mistake I'm sure.
I might go back if the place wasn't so noisy.
Dos Caminos Palazzo, very nice decor Bad Bad mexican food. They try to hard to make something
"special"out of something that should be simple.
