What's Your Never, Ever Again Vegas Hotel?

This topic is on the Vegaschatter site.

I don't have any hotels that are Never, Ever again, but there are towers (or in the case of the Luxor, pyramids) that I will never reserve again.

My only two are:

Luxor pyramid: Many things to mention. First and foremost, the pyramid rooms have air conditioning units in the room instead of pumped in air. My room temperature wouldn't drop below the low 80's during summer visits. In addition, the Inclinators had plaques missing, and grafitti scratched into the walls. The door to the bathroom was a cheap hollow door that had a hole near the bottom. The wallpaper was beginning to peel in the bathroom. The windows must have leaked because the curtains were stained (and broken). I do like the tower rooms.

Ballys South Tower: I have stayed in the North Tower and loved it, but the South Tower room I was given, was slightly larger than normal and had a small refrigerator that didn't work. I didn't realize it at time of checking into the room, but the head board of my bed was attached to a wall, where the elevators were on the other side of it. All night long I could hear the elevators moving.
Harrah's lovers don't slam me for this but I will never stay at Harrahs again. We stayed there for 4 nights one August in the hottest room I have ever been in. The air wouldn't stay on. The hotel itself was so crowded I never once got to play at the VP bars or sit at a slot machine I liked.
Hooters.

But my worst experience, ever, was a motel, a Super8. I was dog tired and just crashed as soon as I got to the room. In the morning I woke up and discovered the room had never been made up from the previous guests. Live and learn.
I'm still boycotting Golden Nugget - the entire property - casino, hotel, showroom , restaurants.
They didn't comp my drink when I was playing max coin at their bar VP three years ago. It pissed me off. I think I will boycott another year before I step foot in again.

Monte Carlo....stayed three in June and there were problems from check-in on. Never again!
DonDiego is sorry that he will never again stay in the Stardust, the Sands, the Dunes, the Aladdin, or the Castaways. He didn't leave them; they left him.
Golden Nugget. Cheap bastards.

I really like the Golden Gate Casino mind you, but room 313 will never happen again!

The room is about 10 feet from one of those crazy big speakers that hang off the FSE roof.....no sleep, no TV, no nothing until the last show is over!

weggie
isn't the FSE over by midnight?

my never ever again hotel is Vnetian/Palazzo
The Las Vegas Club.
I've written a couple of times about my filthy roo,m changed to another room that had lawn furniture and then woken in the middle of the night by a jack hammer.
When I checked out early the next day, the front desk had no apology or comment. Just here's your bill, get out if you don't like our construction site.
