What's Your Never, Ever Again Vegas Hotel?

I'm still boycotting Golden Nugget - the entire property - casino, hotel, showroom , restaurants.
They didn't comp my drink when I was playing max coin at their bar VP three years ago. It pissed me off. I think I will boycott another year before I step foot in again.

Good for you PJ! Don't let those a-holes treat you like that.

BALLYs= Shit Hole.

I don't have any hotels that are Never, Ever again, but there are towers (or in the case of the Luxor, pyramids) that I will never reserve again.

My only two are:

Luxor pyramid: Many things to mention. First and foremost, the pyramid rooms have air conditioning units in the room instead of pumped in air. My room temperature wouldn't drop below the low 80's during summer visits. In addition, the Inclinators had plaques missing, and grafitti scratched into the walls. The door to the bathroom was a cheap hollow door that had a hole near the bottom. The wallpaper was beginning to peel in the bathroom. The windows must have leaked because the curtains were stained (and broken). I do like the tower rooms.

Ballys South Tower: I have stayed in the North Tower and loved it, but the South Tower room I was given, was slightly larger than normal and had a small refrigerator that didn't work. I didn't realize it at time of checking into the room, but the head board of my bed was attached to a wall, where the elevators were on the other side of it. All night long I could hear the elevators moving.

Thanks for the tip about Luxor. I couldn't handle that. Off topic, but it was another stressful win for USC tonight. They are frustrating to watch if you are rooting for them.

They are horrible versus the spread. I'm going to LV next week and should be up there in time to bet on the Syracuse game. As much as it hurts, I think I will take Syracuse plus the points. Turnovers almost cost the Trojans their win tonight.

I have to agree with Harrahs, Pool is to small for a hotel that large. And the Casino is way to busy.
Worst stays_

IP (going away) LOUD from the Carnival court- took 1 1/2 hours to check in on a Thursday night at 11PM- did not get into the room until 12:30 AM. Elevator disaster- anytime you needed to get to the room.

Sahara (gone) Just an overall piece of crap. Smelled, loud- sucked!

Old Plaza- ( vs the New Plaza) at 4 AM, the toliet upstairs overflowed and drenched the ceiling of our room. The elevators were a nightmare.
Has to be the Paris. The room was OK, but it took forever to walk anywhere and the parking garage must have been a mile walk. Check in was pretty slow too. Glad it was comped.

You better put every Vegas mega-resort on your list, especially MGM. All the big ones take a while to walk around and to/from the parking garage.
Arizona Charlies Decauter, so far the worst buffet I've had while in Vegas. Plus, it's too damn far away!

I guess you never saw the rooms & buffet at Arizona Charlie's Boulder Hwy!!

The buffet there is (was?) bad - but the rooms?? Just awful.
