When do the Police cross over the line?????

When do the Police cross over the line. I know they have a very dangerous job and I would not want to be a Law Enforcement Officer today. Get on LVRJ.COM and view the tape. These officers are on this guy like a pack of pit bulls. This guy has gone into diabetic shock and the officers are pulling him out of the car, using super bad language, kicking him, pushing him to the ground, and jumping on top of him. In my opinion only all these officers need to be taken off the job now. As I said they have a very dangerous job and I would not want to do it but they chose the career knowing they had to deal with all kinds. Las Vegas is really gettting a real bad name and from the video they well deserve it. This is way over the line IMOO.
While I'm not sticking up for the cops,my first question would be how are they supposed to know if a guy is in diabetic shock or if he is extremely drunk?
In either case, does it take five cops to control him? If you're a cop and received special training and you can't subdue a person in insulin shock or 'extremely' drunk by yourself, the you don't belong on the force.
I saw the video and I think that none of this would have happened if the motorist had taken his medication. I don't excuse the police officers actions. If one looks at the chain of events- it is 4 am, car weaving in traffic, police stop car, car driver appears under the influence and unresponsive to the officer. Now, as a police officer, how would you feel about the current situation and what would you do next? Not a great situation for anyone involved. Just a preventable situation that was handled badly. Moral of story- if you have a medical condition which requires you to take medication to control, then take your meds. This situation was preventable.

One cop probably would be sufficient - but the object isn't to try out for the next spot on American Gladiators.

Its not a fair fight and its not suppossed to be. You can bet there is a dead cop somewhere whose family wishes he had over-the-top backup support like in this video.
Well with 5 or 6 police both state and Henderson with guns pulled screaming GET THE FU##$$% OUT OF THE CAR and keeps repeating it over and over even if you are sober and excited hard to tell what you might do. The training they receive and the way this was handled it will be another settlement for Joe Q Public without question. This was just poor (very poor) judgement on everyone involved.
The cops in henderson and vegas are out of control.
yeah, the dirty words were the worst thing about this. definitely. How is this guy ever going to recover from hearing the f word multiple times?

Just an FYI, the vast majority of diabetic coma cases are not caused by failing to take medication but by undereating or too much exercise earlier in the day. Very often the victim cannot recognize the symptoms in advance.
Diabetics know that under eating, over exercising, and not taking medication properly can and will cause diabetic coma episodes. Their forgetting or choosing not to monitor their own life is no excuse for the results of their choices. Their medical condition mandates that they be responsible for their own health.
