Don't feel rained on. A million years ago, the first Tunica casinos opened as riverboats along the Mississippi River. There was Splash (the first one), Bally's, The President, and one or two others.
I liked The President a lot, and I had accumulated something like $300 in credit...you got real money for your points back then. I kept those 'points' active/building up, saving for a rainy day.
Then the casinos started closing and Vegas-style casino hotels built up in Robinsonville, (though still referred to as Tunica to this day).
Anyway, we heard The President was soon to pull out, so we planned a trip for one last round of play and collect my $300. As we drove up to the site, there was The President pulling away from the shore! With my $300!
It is risky to leave points on casino tables. You never know when yours may "float away."
Sorry this doesn't answer your Vegas Club point question, but thought my $300 loss, compared to your $25, would make you feel better.
