That's the only thing you girls are good at. Oh and please do ignore what ecomstoc wrote........we wouldn't want the Doc to be exposed as a crancky old liar now do we?

I've stayed at all 3 hotels multiple times and Doc won't like any of them. Downtown Grand would be perfect for him. He will be the only customer so he won't have anything to bitch about. See? How is that not helpful?

Doc cant stay at the Downtown Grand, it has resort fees! I don't blame him, I avoid them as much as I can.
Oh I actually completely understand why people hate resort fees. They're a rip off. But they also are a fact of live in Vegas. And Doc always says he won't stay at a Vegas hotel that charges a resort fee. In this case, I don't believe Doc. I believe he doesn't mind paying the resort fee all of a sudden because the room is comped. Here he says, the resort fee is waved. But this is where he's trying to fool people who visit Vegas regularly. The Doc received a very basic offer for 2 nights comped at the lower tier MGM properties. Those offers don't include a waved resort fee up front. I've been a platinum Mlife member for 5 years in a row now. My offers usually contain 3 to 5 nights comped, a couple of hundred dollars in free play and a couple of 100 dollars in resort credit. With most offers I have to contact my host first to get the resort fee waved up front (it's never an issue though). That's why Doc's story is very questionable.......
I'm with tuques. Get a fake passport, and stay at NYNY.

I like the Monte Carlo because I like the food court and the ease to get to other casinos on the strip. I like the Denny's across the street for breakfast if I am not using MyVegas comps or LVA comps. I did not find the Monte Carlo noisy. If you go when pool is open and you go to pools, the MC pool area is nice.
I like NYNY slots and they are easily accessed from MC. Have not stayed at NYNY or Luxor. Luxor is far enough off strip to make it inconvenient and I do not like the slots there.
If you have a car, NYNY is easiest from which you can get exit.
I agree with O2bnVegas and would select Monte Carlo for location.

Resort fees are waived on some MGM offers.
