I have but then I have to try to get either my CCRN or CCEMTP, and I cannot get off the days I want "off" now, so I doubt for school even. I started my BSN and to tell you the truth had to drop out cause I could not get the time off, or work done even with online due to my icky schedule. My goal was to get CC status, since I have CPR/ACLS/PALS,
UGH...............

The job market is pretty tight for RNs right now, but if you have at least two years experience and you have held a position in the last six months, you might be just what some hospitals are looking for right now. Would you be willing to work Med Surg or in the ER?

Here are some RN jobs in Las Vegas. St. Rose is a great hospital. It is located in Henderson, near Green Valley Ranch.

And here is a good travel nurse lead for a hospital in northern Nevada, if you’d just like to get out west for a while

If you get hired on with a travel agency, you should be kept pretty busy.
My favorite is American Mobile Nursing

You might also try Inventive Health, Maxim Health or CrossCountry Trav Corps
I second the suggestion for St Rose Hospital!

Its a very nice hospital, with some very nice people, working there.

Should be a great place to work.

Valley Hospital is kinda ghetto, and UMC should be avoided at all costs.

Summerlin hospital is another nice one, that should be considered.

Good luck with the job hunting Medic!

I wouldn't recommend St Rose. They have security guards in the ER waiting room. Lots of problems there. Only good thing about St,]. Rose is there's a Tommy's Burger down the street.

Summerlin I would highly recommend. Great service and knowledgeable doctors. That's the place I would go.

Anyone heard anything about Sunrise Hospital? At one time I was asked about possibly transfering out there but I decided against it.

Is it a good hospital?

Bags, Most hosp have security anymore. I had to call them today for a incident. I was not even the ER. I heard St Rose is nice Frankie. Looked to transfer to the VA out there but no openings. I heard run from UMC, LOL.

The hospitals here that are part of the CHW system have a good reputation.
