While Obama sleeps

My dear Jillf; if you think the Afghan fighters are so damn fearsome ( what? ) you should go join up with them. I'm sure some nice un-fearsome ( right! ) U.S. soldier will be along to blow your silly ass away soon enough and show you the error of your thinking.

I am not a defender of Obama in any way, shape, or form. Don't like him, never did. Probably never will. Don't agree with hardly anything he has ever had to say. However, what the hell do you think he is supposed to do? Send troops to oppose Russian troops in Crimea? Launch cruise missiles against them? Start a war over this? Really? I think not. The less he gets involved the better. Let the EU step up and try to ease things with the two parties for a change. We need to stay the hell out of this one. We don't need to be writing checks we can't possibly hope to cash! Not only do I agree with his low profile approach thus far, but, I hope he backs off even more.

I understand that Susan "Benghazi Video" Rice is a huge problem for Don "Fake Moon Landing" Diego....but the president cant really help that. Maybe DD's doctor can prescribe something.

i. DonDiego has no huge problems at all. [see iv., below]
1.a. Nonetheless, Susan Rice is a liar.

ii. "DonDiego" is one word.

iii. "Don'Fake Moon Landing'Diego" is a figment of pjstroh's imagination. DonDiego personally witnessed the launches of Mercury-Redstone 4, Apollo 11, Apollo 14. Apollo 17 [a night-launch of the Saturn V, a spectacular sight, the likes of which will not be seen again], and several Space Shuttle missions from numerous locations on the Space Coast of Florida, both on and off the Kennedy Space Center. DonDiego is quite certain that the USA successfully landed 12 citizens on the Lunar surface and returned them safely back to Earth.
iii.a. Oh, . . . and just to clarify his position on another matter, . . . DonDiego believes that the Earth is a sphere; nonetheless, for most practical earthbound purposes the assumption that it is flat is sufficient.

iv. DonDiego's wacky mood swings and other symptoms of clinical paranoia, hallucinations, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and paraphilia, . . . disorders which pjstroh must admit are common in just about everyone to some extent, . . . are well controlled by a number of controlled and over-the-counter pharmaceutical preparations all of which he obtains legally. Nonetheless. DonDiego thanks pjstroh for his kind concern.
iv.a. The doctor who was kind enough to provide the aforementioned pharmacological solutions to DonDiego quit his practice upon the initiation of Obamacare. The question as to which medications will remain within the formulary of his healthcare plan under the regulation of Obamacare is a concern for the future. But pjstroh needn't worry; none of poor old DonDiego's afflictions include the desire to harm others.

You haven't proven yourself fearsome, merely ignorant and arrogant. The two chief contributing sources of defeat.

From https://www.mcclatchydc.com/2012/10/09/170994/the-afghan-war-do-the-numbers.html

"military officials refuse to even track exact numbers of enemy killed or captured in Afghanistan. Instead, daily reports from the International Security Assistance Force, the NATO-led coalition, use vague descriptions like “few” or “several,” “multiple” or “numerous;” even “many.”

The measurements can mean anywhere from three to “more than 20.”

Using that math, U.S. and allied forces during the first half of September captured or killed about 400 insurgents. But if the entire Taliban force consists of about 20,000 fighters, shouldn’t losing hundreds every few weeks be a sign of a looming collapse?

Indeed, Mahnken said that by U.S. and NATO counts, the Taliban has been defeated several times over.

While Defense Department officials were shocked at the Camp Bastion incident, they say that insurgent attacks are down 24 percent since their peak in 2010, at the beginning of the surge, according to international security force numbers.

In 2010, between the May and August fighting season in Afghanistan, there were about 14,000 insurgent attacks, according the group’s statistics, which are all estimates

During the same period this year, there were about 12,000.

But that’s still higher than they were in 2009 before the surge, when nearly 8,000 insurgent attacks occurred. "

Here's the list of the ignorant and arrogant: The Indus The Kushan The Scythians The Parthians The Saffarid The Ghaznavid The Ghorid The Timurid The Hotaki The Durrani The Aryan The Persians The Sassanids The Hephthalites The Huns The Mughals The Arabs The Turkic The Hazaras The Khwarezmids The Mongols The British The British (again) The British (Yet again) The USSR The United States

Ain't found a way to kill them yet.
The only time the U.S. military has ever been defeated was when the leadership back home tied our hands jilly. I would suggest you visit a V.A. Hosp. near you and thank a vet. for giving you the ability to act a fool on these boards instead of praising our opponents so much. Navy Seal teams would have any one of your so called "fearsome fighters" for breakfast. Provided of course the Rangers didn't get them first.

What branch did you serve in anyway? None? That would be my guess.

I serve the truth. What is it like going through life lying every day?

The Vietnamese had fought the Chinese for 500 years!! There was no way the USA could win a war in Vietnam except by burning the entire place. That doesn't make you a warrior, it just makes you A MURDERER.

The reason the USA doesn't win is because IT CAN'T. Do you really believe the people around the world will just let foreign troops come in, impose puppet governments, and rob everything? Did "the leadership back home tied our hands" when 20 punk wannabes flew aircraft into the WTC?? They could have hit 3 nuclear reactors, but they were ordered not to.

The USA can't win wars, because … EVERYONE HATES US, idiot. They keep coming and coming because people like you never learn, that might doesn't make right. "Because I can (except they tied our hands)" has never been a reason to take something away from someone. And it just keep getting WORSE because IDIOTS like Bush and Rumsfeld kill tens of thousands of completely innocent Iraqi civilians after SAUDI militants bomb the US.

How about YOU thank ME for spending every waking hour helping to kill people, without going crazy, and still showing kindness to the weak and innocent, when I get a chance?

I blame Hillary for pressing the 'Peregruzka Button' instead of the 'Perezagruzka Button'.
