__Immigrants sometimes bring weapons, heavy weapons, and even warships.

That is why there is border enforcement; no warships ever made it past the immigration authorities on Ellis Island.

General Patton died in December 1945, several months after being removed as governor of Bavaria. Still not sure what his contribution to the Cold War.

The Polish army had about 2,000 troops at Market Garden, about 5% of the Allied forces. Doesn't seem like a "major contribution"

Still looking for an example of NATO aggression

Well I obviously can't help you with answers to your questions. You seem to have a hard time understanding anything that doesn't fit your current beliefs. Good luck with that. I'm out of this one, looking back at this, how stupid could I have been to think you could actually reason with people who have no interest in trying to understand anything you say. In other words: never mind, please continue.

You are the one who is ignoring the facts. Poland sends 2,000 troops to one battle and you think it is a big deal. Patton was dead before the Cold War started & you are unable to provide one instance of NATO aggression

Whatever pleases your thick skull. You're a member of the group of people who even completely ignore the fact that the Russians had a big part in the liberation of Europe. Uhhh, how many troops did they send into battle?? You don't even aknowledge that so I'm not suprised you're not the least bit impressed with a country providing 2000 soldiers for a specific battle. Guess what, Europeans disagree with you!! They appreciate all efforts from every country, not just the contributions of the USA. Yes, Patton was dead before the "official start" of the cold war. Jezus died over 2000 years ago, guess how much influence the man still has on global conflicts? Is it sinking in yet? No, tough luck, I'm not going to put any more effort in this.

I'm not even going to discuss NATO because you wouldn't even be willing to seriously listen. This was my last post on this matter, enjoy your ignorance.
"Whatever pleases your thick skull. You're a member of the group of people who even completely ignore the fact that the Russians had a big part in the liberation of Europe"

You brought up Poland as a major contributor & I pointed out that it was minimal, you never mentioned Russia prior to this.

You cannot mention one thing Patton did to start the cold war & then say you won't mention NATO aggression, but is it because you can't find anything?

Man you really can't read now can you?? Are you really that dense??? Where did I state that the Polish were a major contributor? Please be very specific!!! I already mentioned how Patton contributed to the start of the cold war, again you haven't read a thing I said. NATO's birth happend at the end of WWII and that's where agression towards Russia started. Again, something I already wrote. Did you ever pay attention at school? Did you not learn how to read? Let me make it real clear for you, maybe, just maybe you'll put an effort into reading: please see my post of 3/3/14 1:56 PM, it's the 3rd post on this page.

Waiting for you to wake up.....but not holding my breath

"What recognition did Poland ever get for their part in WWII and the liberation of Europe?" – other than getting their 1 million man army wiped out; not much

“that's where agression towards Russia started” - What aggression
You really are a piece of work hoops. That's why I'm not going to continue this. We obviously have a different view on aggression. Russia was actively involved in WWII longer than the USA and at the end of it, when Germany signed its formal surrender, Allied aggression towards Russia started when Generals like Patton made it perfectly clear they wanted to continue the fight and go after Russia. If that's not aggression then you obviously don't know the meaning of the word. I'm not saying I'm too crazy about the Russians, quite the contrary. But I'm realistic enough not to think we're all a bunch of saints.

Really? This was the best you could come up with? Man, why did I even think there was a chance you would understand any of this?
Thread needs more Putin

It appears to poor old DonDiego that President Putin has already succeeded.

*** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE ***
"MOSCOW, March 7 (Reuters) - Gazprom issued a thinly veiled warning on Friday that it could stop shipping gas to Ukraine over unpaid bills, increasing pressure on the new government in Kiev and its supporters in Europe, which gets half its Russian gas through Ukraine.
'Today, March 7, was the deadline for payments for gas supplies to Ukraine in February. Gazprom has not received payments for the debt,' [GAZPROM CEO Alexei] Miller said, adding that Ukraine's overdue gas debt to Russia now stands at $1.89 billion."

Hmm, . . . maybe it is about natural gas.

In other news:
"The guided-missile destroyer USS Truxton departed the Greek port of Souda Bay on 6 March for the Black Sea.
The ship is scheduled to train with Romanian and Bulgarian naval forces for an unspecified period of time, conducting joint maneuvers and landing aircraft on ships. The spokesman, Lt. Shawn Eklund, said the visit is unrelated to Russia’s recent incursion into Ukraine. 'Truxtun’s operations in the Black Sea were scheduled well in advance of her departure from the U.S.,' he said.
The destroyer will join the USS Taylor as the only two U.S. vessels inside the Black Sea during a period of heightened tensions. The Taylor, a guided-missile frigate, remains moored in Samsun, Turkey, after it ran aground in February."

On 6 March the Commander-in-Chief departed for a Florida Keys vacation.

***EDITED to correct erroneous dates from February to March***

Once again, Don Diego lies, and expects the usual RichThuglican sheep to believe the bullshit he spreads thick as molasses on the FFA pages.

Nowhere could I find any evidence of President Obama departing on FEBRUARY 6th for a vacation in the Florida Keys.

Care to retract your statement Don Diego ?
