Apparently there's this big bear wrestling event in FL, and he wants to impress Sarah Palin. Such a tragic thing, we're not referring to her as President Palin.

DonDiego has corrected the erroneous dates from February to March. He thanks marcisdave for kindly pointing out his error.

If there was an incident regarding the security and well being of US citizens (like say a hurricane) I might fault the president for taking a vacation.

Im not sure what DonDiego would have the president do. DonDiego never seems to have a different course of action for the president, just criticism of the course the president has chosen. DonDiego is in the right party.

For the record DonDiego does suppose the fact that Barack Obama is President influences the decisions of President Putin.

Absolutely, Obama influences Putin's decisions. You won't see Putin invading any non-former-iron curtain countries while Obama is in office.

DonDiego trusts that the military training aircraft exercises over Poland are unrelated to the largest ever air-defense exercise in Western Russia.

OPINION:
For the record poor old DonDiego opposes a major military conflict between Russia and the United States, as it is likely to cause him some discomfort, . . . in fact, more discomfort than the more-likely escalation of economic sanctions between Russia and the United States. [The US descent from the world's largest creditor nation [ca 1980] to the world's largest debtor nation has created vulnerabilities.]
