I agree with everything that DRSTEWART mentioned, although I've only lived in Indiana for 22 years (including college). I couldn't tell you about White Castle (AKA Château Blanc) fries as I always order the fantastic onion chips. While vacationing I also try to eat a some local, privately owned joint.
3-4 times a year is also enough for me.
