Who has stayed at the Wynn? How was it?

So I came up on some extra money and then found a great deal for the Wynn! We will be staying at the Wynn two nights and the last night at the Strat. Two places we have never stayed. I hope this doesn't cause a shit storm like the last thread I posted about the Strat.

That is going from the Penthouse to the Outhouse for sure.

Stayed at the Wynn the first year it was open. Rooms were nice, had a strip view. I think they have already remodeled some of the rooms. We found the casino pretty easy to navigate. Lots of good food spots for about any palate.

The rooms are subtle classy. Creams and warm browns.. recessed lighting in the ceilings. Nothing wrong about it. Dreamy creamy.
Delightful smelling lemongrass soaps and shampoos. Casino is horrible about VP pay scales but thats the Strip..you can still Wynn there.

You can ask them for an upgrade to an Encore suite, which isn't much different than a Wynn room. They have a flat screen that revolves between the living room and bedroom. I always like the smell when I enter the Wynn or Encore. Whatever yoou do, don't forget to eat breakfast.....or any meal....at the Society Cafe in the Encore.

The 14 layer cake at Society Cafe is very good.

It was a treat for us. My wife still talks about the mattress. The bath room was great.

Some excellent feedback from everyone! Looks like the Wynn is a win lol. The lady upgraded me just over the phone which was amazing. I got the same treatment from the Strat, but the Wynn? We are going there on a Wednesday, so that maybe why. I was upgraded to a high floor with the choice of a golf course or strip view. I took the strip view of course.

We will definitely try out that cafe. I have heard alot of great things about it. A full TR will be done when we come back. I'll also be updating my post from the room as well.

You will definetly enjoy W/E. I have stayed at both and would say E is my top choice.

Have stayed at both Wynn and Encore. You will not be dissapointed. Love the extras, the robes, slippers, paper, the soaps and lotions are sooooo nice. I think you will be very pleasantly suprised at their rooms.

If you eat at their buffet, when you play with the card, you needed less points for the buffet, at least when we were there and ask for a line pass...

Enjoy, and don't try to take food that isn't a Wynn property restaurant to your room. When we were there they were checking bags of patrons to make sure nothing was going to the room that wasn't Wynn. Some people ahead of us got caught with some other food and it was trashed or they ate it before going up to the room.
