Who has stayed at the Wynn? How was it?

Have stayed at Encore and Wynn, actually liked our Wynn room better but both were very nice.

If I were you, I'd stay at the Strat first and then go to the Wynn. Can't see any reason you'd want to do otherwise. The Wynn is much more classier than the Strat. Once you've been at the Wynn, it's going to be a big disappointment going to the strat. But if you go to the Strat first, you'll think you died and went to heaven!

They are arriving on Wednesday for 3 nights. Their 3rd night is a Friday and I am guessing a much higher rate at Wynn.

My son & daughter-in-law celebrated their wedding anniversary staying at the Wynn a couple of years ago. As a surprise I ordered a bottle

of champagne and some specialty chocolate for their room. Later that day for them when they arrived back at their room there was a table

set up with all the goodies and a signed card. I received a phone call from them stating what a wonderful surprise and also that

the chocolate was the best they had ever had. Try the chocolate for sure.

Friday night at the Wynn is about $300 after tax and resort fee. I got the Strat for $70. That's after taxes with resort fee waived. Also, it's an upgrade to a larger remodeled room on a high floor. I know it won't be the Wynn, but would rather spend $230 I save for gambling and eating. $230 will get me 2 buffets at Wynn and 2 buffets at Belaggio with $70 left for gambling or whatever.

Most shit room I have stayed at in Vegas was the deluxe room with two queens at NYNY, which was in 2009. Non-smoking, but it felt like a smoke room. Guess I'll see how the Strat remodeled room compares to it.
