Gotta agree with the Doc on this one !

I second that. I knew that the squeaky clean image that he tried to portray was fake. I think it is funny as hell that his golf game went right down the tank with his marriage.

Besides that it is her money and her land. Let her spend it the way she wants to.

It does seem like a huge waste of money tho,if she had 100m how much after taxes did she have? spend 12 after that and noone knows what she'll spend to rebuild,20?..30?. Seems like an awful waste IMHO.

She would only have to pay taxes if the money was considered alimony payments. Any actual split of assests would have already been taxed in the year it was earned. Still it is a large percentage of the total $100 million. But even if she spends half, $50 million left buys a lot of child care.

I figured there would be one man who cheered on a cheater. I guess I need to change that to two.

They are both elitist snobs. He figures since he is a championship golfer he can get away with anything. She figures that since she has all this money, well, what the hell, let's tear down the castle and build a bigger one.

Screw them both.

Simple fact of the matter is that Tiger recently completed work on his $50 million dollar home. You would expect her to simply stay in a $12 million dollar "shit hole"?

Don't fret for Elen much, her family is well to do and if she plays her cards right. She can "nab" another rich man.

It's the land, not the structure.

Using LV casinos is a good example. I am unaware of the condition of the house so it might make good sense to start from scratch and design it the way she likes.

With that being said, I agree with the Paddler that they are both pieces of crap so to speak.
Apples and Oranges type of question. Tiger's issues were a question of morals, integrity. What makes Elin's decision so terrible ?

BTW Tiger's estate on Jupiter Island were 3 large properties that were trashed for a completely new set of buildings including gigantic fitness building and a three hole golf course, practice facility actually.
That whole $50million package is said to be fully mortgaged with a 3 year term.

Tiger's Florida Estate on Jupiter Island

Finished property
I don't see where anyone on this board should have anything to say about this or Tiger's new place. Quite frankly, it's not our money being spent. nor any our business. Besides, one of them tearing down a mansion to build another house is like one of us adding on a spare room and it's certainly not the first celeb to do so. Listening to the attitudes on this thread makes me think I could sell a subscription or two of the Enquirer around these parts!

Good Luck!
