Who offers Comp Rooms to Vegas Locals?

Madcat and I are moving to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks.

We will still be interested in staycations after our move. Any idea what casinos or groups will offer free room comps to Vegas locals?

I'm doubting that CET ( yes I know CET gambling odds are awful ) will continue to let us stay free once we move local, maybe I'm wrong. I'm also doubting Boyd will offer rooms.

I am guessing we may receive different offers for freeplay, gifts, or food instead of rooms at most casinos.

We would love to hear any offer experiences you may have as a local.

Thanks!

Lion / Madcat

You can still get free rooms at Harrah's properties as long as your play merits it. Sunday-Thursdays are actually very easy to get.....Friday and Saturday depends on history and room demand. The good thing for locals is that sometimes rooms will show as comp just a day or two beforehand which would usually prohibit this option if you were needing to book flights.

Most downtown properties are pretty open on room comps. I usually get offers from 4 Queens, Binions (offering 4 Queens rooms), Plaza, and the D every month. Others who play frequently with Boyd properties are treated well there.

Don't worry too much about rooms.....if you give the casinos play, you'll be able to get free rooms almost anywhere. Sometimes it may not come in an offer....you may have to ask a host. However, rooms will come one way or another if the casino wants you as a customer.
Salukidean, Thank you very much for your post. We appreciate the information.
We have been locals for 2.5 yrs now and CET still gives us free rooms even though we don't give them much play anymore. Station casinos also offers at least 1 free night in their monthly mailer. You will also get lots of mail with free play, "gifts" etc. BOGO buffets etc.

What, you're leaving just as the Lions are getting ready to head to the Superbowl next year? You realize of course, if that happens, you were the cause of their misfortune.LOL

If I had that power I would consider moving to Detroit, lol. We actually live in Hawaii right now so I am doubting our move will change the destiny of the Detroit Lions.
How will they know you are locals?

Keep your out of state licenses and addresses on your players club and have your mail forwarded. I think the USPS will do that for a year.

After a year, I believe you might want to get a Nevada license and address.
Sometimes the casinos give more comps to the locals than they do to out of state players. As long as you give decent action you will get comped everywhere. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give action to local casinos to get more comps. seems to me that if you play at Stations and Boyd casinos you will get more of your share of comps. Silverton is very "giving" and really has good giveaways every month. Plenty of good food to eat there in their many restaurants. They have a great promotion there right now where you can get $50 food credits very easy!
We love the Silverton. Free rooms are still important to us versus food, etc. because we like to nest while out gambling and drinking.
